This is an annual fundraiser that celebrates what God is doing through the ministry of MSU FCA. MSU FCA is on a mission to make disciples who make disciples - impacting athletes, coaches and students by building faith, developing character and encouraging leadership.
Reservations are required.
Adults only, please.
An opportunity for a financial faith promise investment will be provided.
Every year, current student MSU athletes share testimonies about how God is utilizing MSU FCA to impact their hearts and lives. We will also hear from coaches in how God is moving in their lives, their teams and at MSU.
SOLOMON ORR
MSU FCA REPRESENTATIVE
My name is Solomon Orr and I am from Mesquite, TX. I went to the greatest and only school in Mesquite. Go Skeeters! I attended Cisco Junior College and then moved on to Tarleton State University in Stephenville, TX. After I completed my studies at Tarleton, I played 5 years in the AFL and IFL, with a short stent in the NFL. Once football was over for me, I landed in Wichita Falls and God opened doors for me in the local school district. I began volunteering at Hirschi and WFHS before I was called to join FCA as the MSU campus representative. This journey has been the dream I never knew I needed. I'm so grateful for this opportunity and to serve the MSU campus. I pray we continue to grow the MSU FCA ministry to be the best in the country.
"He must become greater; I must become less."
As competitors, we always dream of something Greater. We train tirelessly to reach our potential,
seeking approval from teammates, coaches and fans. The promise of a trophy or praise pushes us
to succeed. Our identity becomes about our performance—how well we play, not who we are.
The pressure to succeed fuels our purpose to compete every day. But what happens when our
season ends, or we don’t perform well? What does it say about our potential or our purpose? The
world will say we’re not good enough—that we’ve failed.
But Jesus Christ says differently.
